The Story behind CFEC

There’s something to the saying “it takes a village to raise a child”.  Community plays an important role – and surrounding yourself with other parents that believe in this can sometimes be quite a challenge. As founders of the CFEC, we strive to create a center that fosters this very thing. It’s our goal to develop a center that’s dedicated to supporting and celebrating parenthood through smart classes, cutting-edge parenting techniques, quality products and recommendations, and a supportive social environment that’s tailored to both parents and children. 

It is with great excitement and with much pleasure that we bring our vision to life in Cincinnati.

Sharon Said and Renate Wuebker

More about the Founders

Sharon Said

Owner of ProActive Parenting, LLC, Sharon has been offering unique parent/child education courses to women and families of the greater Cincinnati area for over 20 years. She holds multiple parent education certifications and teaches a wide array of parenting classes throughout the Greater Cincinnati community, as well as traveling nationally to conduct educator trainings. Her most recent accomplishments include the release of the Signing Safari children’s signing video and book series, and the founding of the Cincinnati Family Enrichment Center. She and her husband are the proud parents of 3 sons and reside in Loveland, Ohio.

Renate Wuebker

A native of Germany, Renate earned degrees in German and Spanish literature. As photo editor for Germany’s largest private international press agency she was responsible for the entire 5 million photo archive and a staff of 20, working with international accounts, and assigning photographers globally. Shortly after moving overseas in 2000 she began her family and has since devoted her time and energy to her three children and doing volunteer work in the Cincinnati Public School system. Renata is very pleased to be co-owner of the Cincinnati Family Enrichment Center.
